When you are on retreat at Holy Hill, you have the freedom to plan your day around your own needs. You might choose to use our library, which is well stocked with books, recorded talks, and lectures. You might go on a walk or cycle in the surrounding countryside or down to the sea, which is 3 miles away. We also have a pottery studio and art supplies for creative expression.
You will stay in your own ensuite hermitage which includes cooking facilities. We supply you with food but you prepare it yourself.
You are invited to join the community and other retreatants on Sundays to share a meal and conversation; this gives you an opportunity to meet the wide variety of people who visit Holy Hill.
Lastly, we extend an open invitation for all to join us in our communal prayer, but you are absolutely free to do as you wish.
